This site is perfect for the ferry terminal at Portsmouth, just 11 miles distant, although with all hardstandings it has been compared with camping in a car park, a little unfair, but not much as the touring area is square and gravelled with not much grass in evidence. The pitches, however are huge so big in fact that the new owners are planning to re-jig the layout and by making some of the pitches a little smaller get an extra pitch or two in.
The facilities are of a good standard and kept spotlessly clean. There is a small laundry, a well stocked information room and it is the only site I have come across with hand sanitiser to use until you manage to get to a basin to was your hands.
This site is close to all local amenities and a perfect base for a holiday in the Portsmouth area.
